The Center for Collaboration in Governance (CCG) is a California, non-profit 501(c)3 corporation formed in 2015.   

Board of Directors:

Lindell L. Marsh, President and Executive Director.  Attorney with over 40 years of experience focused on land use, the environment and natural resources, including an emphasis on collaborative processes.  Past lecturer at UCI, School of Social Ecology, Department of Planning and Public Policy (currently on the Advisory Board), UCLA Law School, Georgetown Law Center and USC, School of Urban and Regional Planning.   

Michael Stone, Director of Communications and Marketing (Ret.), UCLA. 

Randal E. Jackson, Past-President, PlaceWorks, the foremost public land planning firm in California.

Susan K. Hori, Partner, Manatt, Philps and Phillips, LLP, with a practice focusing on land use and the environment.   

James Pugh, Partner, Sheppard, Mullin, Richter, & Hampton, Los Angeles. 

Collaborators, Contributors and Friends:  

To date, for support of our efforts, we have relied, primarily, on collaboration, with: 

  • UCI School of Law, Center for Land, Environment and Natural Resources (CLEANR), the Environmental Law Institute and Downey, Brand LLP and the President’s Council on Environmental Quality in hosting dialogue sessions in Irvine, Sacramento and Washington, D.C.; 
  • Placeworks, in editing and putting our Report on the Future of Habitat Conservation Planning into publication form;
